Myth Interactives — Projection Mapping

App-development internship · Museum experiences

During my app-development internship at Myth Interactives, I worked on a Unity/C# applications for interactive projection-based storytelling. The multilingual timeline lets visitors select historical events and play the corresponding video in English, Hindi, or Odia, making educational content accessible through visitor-led exploration.

The application combines event-driven video playback with configurable interaction and projection positions, automatic idle-video playback, and a hidden protected exit for installation operators. Integrated external configuration files to allow content and layout adjustments without changing the application code.

Deployed installation: The video below showcases Myth’s Take Me to the Forest, a 45-foot interactive projection wall at the Odisha State Tribal Museum in Bhubaneswar. It introduces younger visitors to 13 particularly vulnerable tribal communities and themes of biodiversity, sustainability, and indigenous ecological practices through playful interaction.

TIAGo Picasso

Team project · Simulation and real-world testing

A robotics prototype that turns user-created drawings into floor drawings using a TIAGo mobile robot. Through a web interface, users can draw simple shapes or upload SVG artwork, position and scale it on a map, choose the spacing of drawing points, and monitor execution. Potential applications include playground games, sports markings, and interactive exhibitions.

A Vue.js frontend and Python/Flask backend translate drawings into movement goals and pen-up/down commands. ROSBridge connects the application to ROS navigation and robot-position feedback, while MQTT links an ESP32 servo controller to the pen mechanism. The hardware combines a 3D-printed pen-lift mechanism based on an existing design with a mounting support for the robot.

Testing covered both simulation and the physical robot. Real-world drift, movement in the pen mount, and turns with the pen down highlighted the need for more accurate path execution and compensation for the pen’s mounting position.

Legal tech · AI research assistant

CONSILIA

Interdisciplinary semester project

A full-stack research assistant for legal professionals, developed through a collaboration between computer science and law. CONSILIA uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to find relevant Council of Europe treaties and HUDOC case law, then produce structured, source-linked analysis. Beatrice being the law student supported me with the analysis and curated legal knowledge.

The system combines semantic search with human-curated legal knowledge, supports contextual follow-up questions, and stores users’ chat histories. It is designed to support legal research, not replace professional judgment.

React · Tailwind CSS · Node.js / Express · MongoDB · Python / FastAPI · OpenAI embeddings and LLMs

Created with Beatrice Eugenia Gervasini, combining software development with legal research and knowledge curation.

Generative AI · Website-building SaaS

AIUI

Chat-driven website studio · Pre-launch

Business: A website studio that turns natural-language requests into websites and lets users refine them through conversation. Designed to simplify creating portfolios, landing pages, and small-business sites, with integrated previews and publishing. Its subscription model includes invite-based trials, usage-based plan limits, and Payrexx billing.

Technical: A React interface and Node.js / Express application backed by MongoDB connect to a private Python / FastAPI generator using OpenAI. Revisions use the current site and chat history as context. Generated HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are validated and published without a per-site build step, with separate-origin sandboxed previews, controlled contact-form handling, and an admin monitoring panel.

Biddy

Inpeek hackathon · Hosted at Inpeek’s office

An AI copilot for bid teams, developed during a hackathon organised by Inpeek at its office. Biddy helps extract tender requirements, find supporting company knowledge, and prepare evidence-backed proposal drafts, reducing manual work across the bid-preparation process.

The system combines document processing with semantic and keyword search for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Drafts include source citations, with human review and explicit approval before export.

SeeGhost

Ghost Font Decoder

A computer-vision project exploring how to reveal text hidden by GhostFont’s motion-based illusion. GhostFont makes letters visible through opposing dot movement, leaving individual frames looking like noise. SeeGhost analyses changes across video frames to turn those motion cues into still images for inspection and potential downstream OCR.

Using OpenCV and NumPy, the processor compares upward and downward movement, combines evidence across nearby frames, and cleans the resulting masks to reduce noise. It produces two downloadable PNGs with detected upward-moving regions highlighted in red. The current approach uses fixed motion settings; it is an experimental visual decoder, not automatic text transcription or a guarantee of recovery for every video.

The Flask application includes upload validation, malware-scanning integration, rate limits, resource-limited processing, and expiring result links with automatic cleanup.

About

I’m Aditya Deshpande, a software developer based in Bern and an MSc Computer Science student at the University of Bern. My work spans Unity games and simulations, full-stack web and mobile applications, and applied AI. I’m especially interested in interactive experiences that make complex ideas easier to understand and use.

My experience includes a Unity development internship at Myth Interactives and freelance work on websites, Electron desktop applications, React Native mobile apps, and accounting software. At Myth, I worked on interactive projection software for museum storytelling, combining multilingual content, visitor-triggered video playback, and configurable installation layouts. My accounting work combines inventory and payment tracking with financial dashboards, Excel reporting, and local database backups. My portfolio extends that work into legal research with CONSILIA, conversational website creation with AIUI, tender intelligence with Biddy, and computer vision with SeeGhost.

My bachelor’s final-year project explored online examinations and proctoring, including question management, answer submission, and scoring. I’ve since added a working browser-based face-detection demo using TensorFlow.js, processing webcam video locally without uploading or saving it.

With TIAGo Picasso, I worked with a teammate to connect a web-based drawing interface to a mobile robot and a 3D-printed pen mechanism. The project brought together ROS navigation, embedded control, and simulation and real-world testing to translate digital drawings into physical motion.

I enjoy building with people from different disciplines. My team won the People’s Choice Award at BärnHäckt 2026 for a game explaining Swiss Post’s e-voting process. As a Google Developer Student Club Lead and workshop speaker, I’ve also helped students explore Unity and other technologies through practical learning.
